A WEEK FULL OF CONFERENCES

This was a very bust but very fun week.  Hilda is still sick and isnt really progressing.  Other than that we have a lot of investigators but none have gone to church or are progressing.  Friday I had a conference for district leaders in Viña.  I had to leave at 5:45 in the morning for Viña but it was really fun.  We talked about characteristics of leadership and being a good team.  We watched part of a movie called Cool Runnings about a Jamaican bobsled team.  We learned a lot and it was a spiritual experience.  Also Presidente bought us Papa John’s pizza for lunch. 

  

Saturday morning we watched a conference that Elder Bednar did with missionaries for the South America south area.  It was awesome and he was really fun.  He talked about the importance of acting and how only after we act does the power of faith come.  He spoke in English with a translator and sometimes he would throw in the few Spanish words he knew and talk Spanglish.  He also gave his translator a fist bump. 

 

He also talked about the importance of the holy ghost and how we have the foolish tradition in the church of writing down exactly what the speaker says instead of writing down the impressions that come to us. 

   

Then Sunday we had a broadcast for all of Chile.  President Nelson gave his talk in Spanish.  He had a very gringo accent but it was a good message.  Crazy week.  My companion and I are very well and we are having fun working.  I tried to take more pictures this week.  Im not a huge fan of taking pictures.

Les quiero muchisimo. Tengan una buena semana.  Yo se que Jesucristo vive y que por medio del Libro de Mormon podemos comprener aun mas su caracter y como es.  Yo se que PRes Monson es un profeta de Dios.
