CHI CHI CHI LE LE LE VIVA CHILE!!!!

This week was yet another crazy week.  Tuesday I went to Quillota and had an intercambio with Elder Ashcraft.  There were 2 lights in the sky and everyone was standing in the street looking at them saying they were aliens and UFOS.  That was funny.

Wednesday President Kahnlein left and President Diaz showed up.  And Friday we received an exciting call.  The zone leaders called us to let us know that President Diaz said we could watch the Copa America championship game Argentina vs Chile.  Chile has never won a huge tournament like this before and it was a huge deal especially because the tournament is here in Chile..  So we watched the game with Alvaro.   Nothing happened in the entire game and it went to penalty kicks and Chile won.  Then the entire country exploded  We went outside to watch the commotion.  First there was just people with flags and vuvuzuelas running around.  Then people with drugs came out and the situation continued to escalate.  More and more people came out of nowhere.  Everyone was driving around in their cars blaring their horns and cheering.  Then beer started to fly around.  Then flares started to be light.  Then out of no where appeared on the little platform in the plaza a huge 10 foot bass drum.  I don't know where they found that thing.  Then we look and around the corner comes a dump truck with the back chuck full of people and a man on the roof with a huge flag.  Then a cop got ran over and ambulances were running all over the place nd then out of nowhere appear like 25 cops on motorcycles start flying around and it was crazy.

As an aftermath of all this no one woke up to go to church only about 20 people came.  Ivan and his mom who was all planning to be baptized didn't come so we have to wait a couple weeks more to baptize them.  Yesterday we ae lunch in la puerta and we were waiting in la vega for a bus to head back to Cabildo.  And it started to pour rain.  We were stranded and soaked to the bone.  So we did what any reasonable man would do and we stuck our thumbs out and hitchhicked back to Cabildo.

It was a good week and a crazy week.  We have a conference with President the 14th.

I hope you have a good week and i love you guys!!!  Read your scriptures y no dejen que se les echen la yegua.  (thats Chilean for don't chub)
